Not at all. Patch 1 had Paper Trail content as well as some bug fixes. I'm pretty sure we also piggybacked some updated localization text with it as well.

Technically it really isn't free, though, all the in-game stuff, anyway. That's all pre-loaded onto the disc. So people are actually paying for it.

Paper Trail missions weren't on the disk. They were added to Second Son in the first patch that we released when the game came out.

We would first like to thank you for writing to us about this issue in our forums. We value all of the feedback and are investigating any issues that have been flagged.  For this particular issue, our engineering team here at Sucker Punch has looked at this very closely.

We understand that some of our customers notice small transitions when the engine loads additional areas of the game world. When this loading occurs, the engine may drop a frame in the process. We are aware of this issue and throughout development we worked very hard to minimize this effect, but if you're particularly sensitive to this issue, you will notice it in the game’s final performance. The patch that has been released simply gives players the option to cap the game frame rate at 30fps if you prefer playing this way.  Unfortunately this frame rate cap does not fix the issue you're reporting.

We realize that you, and others who percieve of this issue, will still be able to spot the occasional frame drop--and appreciate the videos/reports you've sent to us as we learn more.  While the majority of players aren't as sensitive to this issue as you are -- this is an area that we'll  be taking a close look at in future projects as well.

This has been discussed several times in other threads, as well as through PMs and personal emails on this topic. I'm locking this thread.

But...people swear around here all the time. I didn't see him bypass the censor, and the thread being locked still makes little sense.

People do push it language-wise around here, and when they do, they're usually PM'd about it if/when they're reported/we come across it/ect. Warnings happen behind the scenes.

The thread was locked because the conversation wasn't moving forward and it had become toxic. If you feel as though you have something to add to it you can always PM it to me. If it adds something of value I'll unlock the thread and you can post it.

Mm if you're reading this I'm sorry I didn't mean to be so hurtful.

I'm willing to bet that you getting a warning was due to the language. We mods frequently PM out warnings before doing things like issuing temp bans, full bans, ect.

It's usually best to give someone a heads up first when they start getting close to that line.

Then they should have never added the conduit aspect. There was no good reason to do so, other than to make us think we were getting a new power.

There is a reason for the conduit aspect. The story of Paper Trail hasn't concluded yet so it hasn't been revealed.

At E3 Sucker Punch Showed that if behind an enemy the player can put two fingers on the touchpad to grab the enemy with one hand and smoke his face with other. Why is this not in the game?

This is incorrect, the touchpad subdue was only ever with a single finger. The touchpad wasn't as much fun for the Evil Karma Subdue so we changed it to a button instead in the ship version of the game.

They did that on purpose because they didn't want to modify the way their save files are made or something like that.

This is correct. We didn't want to risk touching our save system when we put in these changes. They don't save by default.

This patch is great and all, but what about the few that can't even play? Don't you think we've waited long enough? You can act all "just be thankful they made the patch," but this patch doesn't necessarily benefit those who can't even experience it. We need this fixed, I know for a fact it sure isn't my PS4 that's causing it because I've tried it on a friend's PS4. So I would be ever so grateful if a patch came out soon actually fixing this problem. It may not effect all of your customers, but it doesn't mean we should be ignored.

Jason, can you send an email to 911@suckerpunch.com and describe why the game is unplayable for you? That way we can troubleshoot the issue and get you playing again.

I am still having pop-in issues with it too. The 30 fps second option does not help. I am using a disc copy of the game...
